You don’t need a logo. You Need a Brand.
So many times people say these exact words to me. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE hearing those words. But,….. There is something much deeper than “I need a logo” though.
- A logo will not give you the results needed.
- A logo doesn’t sell for you
- A BRAND can sell for you.
- A BRAND can get the results for you.
Hear me, out.
A logo is a business’ identification via a recognizable mark or symbol.
A brand is the feeling of what someone feels sees when they interact with a company. A logo is ONE part of the brand.
A logo is a company’s symbol. It should be memorable, simple, and timeless, leaving room for interpretation. Beyond that, we talk about identity: business cards, letterhead, marketing collateral, packaging, signage, etc. This is the growth of a brand.
A brand is the feeling of what someone feels and sees when they interact with a company. It is the meaning behind what a business believes and strives to accomplish.
There are many areas that are used to develop a brand: advertising, customer service, promotional merchandise, reputation, and logo. All work together to create one unique and cohesive image.
